Test the evidence against the rules.
Reads and cross-checks documents
Live
Upload invoices, certificates, packing lists and lab reports together. Core sorts them, pulls out the facts and compares them with each other.
Replaces someone reading forty pages and comparing numbers by hand.
Catches route and detail mismatches
Live
If a document shows a different route than the one declared, say Vietnam instead of Thailand, Core asks you and re-checks only the documents affected. Conflicts are resolved with a recorded name and reason.
Fixed in one step, with a paper trail.
Spots forged or altered documents
Live
Looks for handwriting, stamps and signatures, and for signs a document was edited after it was issued.
Certificate fraud is common on high-risk trade routes.
Lab reports and accreditation
Live
Reads lab reports, or takes them directly from the lab by API. Core checks that the lab is accredited by a recognized national body, that the sample matches the container and seal, and that results are within legal limits for pesticides, heavy metals and pathogens.
A report from an unaccredited lab is flagged for review, not accepted as evidence.
Organic certificates, deforestation declarations with plot maps, seafood catch certificates, wine certificates and composite foods, plus an estimate of what a rejection would cost in demurrage.
Built around the checks EU border posts actually apply.
Quality-scheme certificates
Under development
BRCGS, GLOBALG.A.P., FSSC 22000 and organic certificates are checked for expiry. The newest rule flags a missing BRCGS site code or GLOBALG.A.P. number, because a certificate nobody can look up is not proof.
The stricter rules are built and tested. They are not in production yet.
Halal certificate and certifier checks
Live
Core knows 23 recognized halal bodies. For goods going to the UAE, Turkey and Singapore it checks the issuing body against the official list, including whether its recognition has lapsed. It can also look a certificate up on the Indonesian and Malaysian registers.
The Indonesian and Malaysian register lookups are not switched on in every environment yet.
Packaging rules (UK EPR)
Under development
Checks whether a packaging producer is on the UK government register, now covering all 12,069 producers rather than the first 500.
Waiting on its next production deployment.
Nutrition and ingredients audit
Under development
Paste a product specification and Core checks it against the target market's rules: additives, and a mass-balance check on the recipe.
An early check before you print a label.
Misleading “green” label claims
Under development
Scans labels in six languages for vague claims such as “eco-friendly” or “climate neutral” with no proof, under the new EU rules that apply from 27 September 2026.
In testing. It only warns, and the rule list still needs sign-off from our compliance owner.
