Privacy notice
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This notice explains how VeriPura handles personal data collected through veripura.com and its industry sites, such as food.veripura.com: the contact form, the link to book a call, and your visit to the site itself. It is written to meet the UK GDPR and the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
Who we are
[Company legal name], [registered address], trading as VeriPura ("VeriPura", "we", "us"), is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at [privacy email address].
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, company, work email, the type of engagement you are interested in (for example a pilot, managed agents or hosted API access), your industry, and your message.
- Booking a call. If you book through our Google booking page, Google processes your name, email address, the time you choose and any answers you give, and shares them with us.
- Visiting the site. Our hosting provider receives technical data such as your IP address and browser type when the page loads.
- Display preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser. It is not sent to us.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to your request, arrange a call, and prepare a compliance check, pilot or proposal you asked about. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- To keep the site working and secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not use it to train AI models, and we do not add you to marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Formspree, which delivers contact form submissions to us by email.
- Google, for our booking page, calendar and email.
- Our hosting provider, [hosting provider], which serves the site.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses (with the UK addendum where relevant).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking data for [retention period] after our last contact with you, unless it becomes part of a contract, in which case we keep it as long as that contract requires. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, contact [privacy email address]. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, the authority in your country or [our lead supervisory authority].
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only item stored on your device is your light or dark display preference, kept in your browser.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
